This website is a short photo log of the peace and solitude that the Upper Peninsula of Michigan can provide.
These pictures tell the story of the wide diversity of wildlife and landscapes that are available in our
national forests for anyone to enjoy. We have tried to convey the simple joy of seeing a rainbow after a summer storm, the beauty of an amazing sunset, hiking through the forests and coming upon a
spectacular waterfall, or the solitude of a walk in the snow where the only sound you hear is your footsteps.
We hope these photographs will show you the delicate nature of our natural resources and the importance of preserving them for future generations.
We live by the philosophy of take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footsteps. These photographs are our interpretations of nature's beauty.
